B2B (Trade) Terms and Conditions
This website is operated by LMT UK Wholesale Limited (referred to as "UK Wholesale/we/our/us"). As a user of this website (referred to as "you/your") you acknowledge that any use of this website including any transactions you make ("use/using") is subject to our Business terms and conditions. Please ensure that you have read these terms and conditions, as well as our privacy policy, before using our website. In placing an order with us, it is deemed that you accept the most recently published terms & conditions. We are a B2B (Business to Business) website, any order placed on our site are for Business / Trade use and are subject to these terms & conditions.
1 CONTRACT
1.1. We must receive payment for the whole price of the order before your order can be accepted. Your payment of the price for the goods represents an offer on your part to purchase the goods.
1.2 We will send you an order acknowledgement email detailing the products you have ordered.
1.3 Non acceptance of an order may be a result of one of the following;
• The product you ordered being unavailable from stock
• The identification of a product or pricing error
• Our inability to obtain authorization for your payment
1.4 By Providing your card details through our website, you authorize us to debit your account for the order placed, and/or in circumstances we require to fulfill the contract as per the terms set out in this contract, This is known as a continuing transaction authority.
2 CONTENT
2.1 We reserve the right to vary our prices, product descriptions and website content whenever necessary.
2.2 Images are for illustration purposes only and products may occasionally vary in size, shape or colour.
2.3 Any re-use or copying of the material on our website is strictly prohibited.
3 ORDERING AND AVAILABILITY
3.1 There is no minimum order value.
3.2 Products are sometimes out of stock and cannot guarantee 100% stock availability at all times. If the product you ordered is Out of stock it will be placed on backorder, This means the order stays active on our system and we will send the goods directly to you once it arrives back into stock. Please check the product detail page for stock updates. during this time we do not accept any cancellation requests or refunds.
3.3 Orders that contain items that are out of stock at the time of order will not be sent to you with any other "in stock" items In this instance, They will either be sent to you when they arrive back into stock or we may decide to send Substitutes "like for like" or better than the original order. This also applies to items with specific colours of the same item. (We will sent you a different colour as a substitute) we will not charge you any additional postage.
3.4 If we do not have all or enough of the product that you require, Customer Service may provide an update on availability and on any forecast shipping dates. Or you can visit the website for further information.
3.5 All estimated restock dates are for guidance only. These are subject to change without notice. Please note, We do not update you of any delays. It is best to keep checking the product detail page for estimated restocking dates. As soon as the items arrive to our warehouse you will receive the dispatch notification email.
3.6 If you require a significant volume of a product(s), we may offer discounts. Contact Customer Service to discuss your requirements.
3.7 We currently Have Stocks in 4 warehouses in the UK - Basildon - Manchester - Barnsley and Doncaster. If your order contains items stored in multiple warehouses they may be a delay in processing and receiving your order. This also includes Next Day Deliveries, If this is the case we will contact you to let you know. (next day delivery only) otherwise your order should arrive within 30 days from the date of order.
4 PRICES & PAYMENT
4.1 Prices displayed do not include delivery costs. For delivery information please refer to the delivery Information page.
4.2 The displayed prices are Inc VAT. However, A fully detailed VAT invoice will be issued by email on dispatch.
4.3 Payment is taken at the point of checking out, Payment can be made with major credit or debit cards.
5 SHIPPING
5.1 We ship inside the UK mainland, highlands, offshore islands & Northern Ireland.
5.2 Shipping to Europe – the rates vary throughout Europe, and depend on the size of your order. Please contact customer service to obtain a quote before placing your order – 0871 288 6969.
5.3 UK mainland - we offer free delivery on orders over £50 net. (Full Carton Orders Free Over £1000)
5.4 You are responsible for ensuring that all the details you give are correct as we cannot be held liable for any mis-delivery arising out of incorrect information that you have provided
5.5 Orders received after 12 noon and on a weekend will be dispatched the following working day. (express next day service only)
Goods supplied will normally be delivered within the following number of working days from dispatch:
(a) mainland UK within 96 working hours
(b) UK Highlands and offshore Islands within 5-10 working days
(c) Europe within 10-14 working days
Delivery times are not binding. Please allow upto 30 working days in total for your order to arrive.
5.7 Delivery usually takes place between 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday. Please note that some delivery drivers may operate outside these times and we are currently unable to accept specific requests for times or days. Bulk Deliveries are made by a tail lift lorry, and therefore you must ensure that we have suitable access and are able to stop and unload safely.
Please ensure there is someone available to sign for and unload the delivery, using your own equipment where necessary. You are responsible for ensuring that all the details you give are correct as we cannot be held liable for any mis-delivery arising out of incorrect information that you have provided. Deliveries must be signed for by someone aged 18 or over, failed deliveries may incur charges.
5.8 It is NOT possible to collect any order from our warehouses.
6 LIABILITY
6.1 Risk of damage to or loss of the goods passes to you at the time of delivery to you, or if you fail to take delivery at the agreed time, the time when we tried to deliver.
6.2 Goods do not come with any warranty or guarantee whatsoever other than implied by law for business to business sales.
6.3 Orders can consist of more than one box or pallet. Ensure you check the delivery note and sign for the correct amount.
6.4 Any external signs of damage caused in transit must be noted on the delivery note and reported to customer services immediately. If you suspect significant damage has been caused, do not accept the delivery.
7 RETURNS
7.1 We do accept returns of non-faulty items within 30 days of delivery. (40% Restocking fee applies & sent back to us at your own cost)
7.2 We operate a 5% margin for broken or faulty goods.
7.3 Any shortages or damages, above 5%, must be reported to our customer service team within 2 hours of delivery. All claims shall be deemed to be waived and absolutely barred if they fall outside these timescales.
7.4 Damaged and faulty items must be returned to us for inspection at your own cost. You are responsible for the handling and shipping of the contents of your return.
7.5 On receipt of any returned goods that are claimed to be damaged, we will inspect the products and determine if any liability can be accepted.
7.6 Liability shall never exceed the value of the goods.
8 AMENDING OR CANCELLING AN ORDER
8.1 Orders received by us are accepted immediately online, therefore it is not possible to cancel or amend an order once you have placed it.
9 FORCE MAJEURE
9.1 We are not liable for any delay or failure to perform any of our obligations if the delay or failure results from events or circumstances outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, accidents, war, fire, strikes, lock outs, failure of any communications including telecommunications or computer systems, breakdown of plant or machinery or shortage or unavailability of raw materials from a natural source of supply, and we shall be entitled to a reasonable extension of its obligations.
10 INVALIDITY & SEVERANCE
10.1 Each clause or any part at all of this agreement is to be regarded as independent of the others. This means that should any clause or any part at all of this agreement be found to be unenforceable or invalid it will be severed and will not affect the enforceability or validity of the rest of this agreement.
11 DATA SECURITY
11.1. We will collect, process, and/or use the information provided by you ("Personal Data") for the purposes of administering and performing the customer contract with us, general and long-term customer care and personalised customer service, as well as sales promotion, market and opinion research activities (by mail and electronic communications).
11.2 All Information that is needed for processing your order is transmitted through a secure connection using 128 Bit SSL encryption. The personal data provided by you at the beginning of, or during the course of business dealings shall be processed and, in particular, stored in compliance with the provisions of the UK Data Protection Act.
11.3 You have the right to access and review your Personal Data at any time and to request that your Personal Data be corrected, amended, deleted, or blocked.
11.4 You may withdraw your consent at any time.
11.5 Personal data shall not be passed on to third parties. Excluded are our service partners, which need the transmission of data for the handling of your order. (e.g. parcel-service or bank). In this case however the passing of data is limited to the necessary minimum.
12 AGE RESTRICTED ITEMS
12.1 Under UK law you must be aged 18 or over to purchase any of our kitchen, craft and DIY knives. By agreeing to our Terms & Conditions, you are confirming that you are 18 years of age. Please note that we may contact you for proof of age.

13.1 If you Decide to contact your credit card issuer to obtain a refund for the order, And if you are in breach of our contract we will recharge your account £9.00 for the Service charge and also an £20 Administration charge to cover our expenses.
- £12 to issue first letter
- £12 to issue notification to court ( 10 days after 1st letter)
- £38 to issue court papers to reclaim the debt
- Plus all court fees and interest of debt
If we are unsuccessful we will employ debt collection agencies to recover the debt, this will incur further charges and a CCJ will be on file
